The headquarters of the Secretariat of State for Equality welcomed new signing of the Charter of Diversity . During the meeting, brought together 18 organizations who wanted to make public their commitment to the principles of the protocol that encourages the development of diversity in the workplace, in addition to existing legislation on equality and nondiscrimination. The event was chaired by Ms. Carmen Navarro Martínez, Director General for Equality in Employment and Discrimination of the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality, who said: "The Charter of Diversity has a unique character because it involves both to companies and organizations working for equality and diversity. " In addition, Navarro stressed that successful businesses must harness the benefits of diversity in employment. Beside her, D. Javier Benavente, Vice President of Diversity Foundation and Foundation President Alares ® again highlight once again its call for the people and of course for diversity, a source of wealth for the society to which we must place absolute priority global environment as we live.
Among the companies signed, we can find Kellogg Spain, CEMEX Spain, Merck Spain, Caja Navarra, Valassis, Carnes Selected 2000 SA Campofrío, Spain and Portugal Michelin SA, Sales Force Network SL, Grupo Elsamex, Reinventur, Motorola Mobility Spain SLU, without dieting, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, MAKESOFT Techlologies, Gesor Group, Mahou-San Miguel, Santiago Lopez de Consultants SL and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. A total of 18 new entities that are committed to the principles for diversity which includes the Charter of Diversity.
